So this week came and went…and looking back, I’d say it was…okay. About an 8/10.
For those who don’t know, I work at a bagel deli five days a week, about 8 hours a day (Sat-Wed). It’s not a hard job per say…but it is kinda stressful, and I’m so over customer service. I took this week off to start this blog, do some things with my YouTube channel, work on Keepers of Balance, and overall take time for myself…and time to remember my cat, who passed away a year ago.
I did most of what I wanted to accomplish this week–there was certainly plenty of time for myself and mourning, I got my first tattoo dedicated to said cat, and, obviously, started this blog. There were a couple of videos I wanted to record/edit/post onto YouTube…but at least I bought the editing program I needed, so there’s that. I didn’t get to work on “KoB” as much as I wanted to…but I helped my husband out with one of his projects and did that self-portrait, so I can’t really complain.
A lot of friends came over during the week, too, and drama happened here and there…but I still enjoyed the company and time.
And finally, I just returned from a Tigers (vs. Red Sox) game with my dad and his girlfriend. Tigers won (10-5). It was a fun game, and I still had a good time.
Am I a little salty my vacation’s over?…Yeah, yeah just a tad. But time moves on, so MAXIMUM EFFORT!
(…also, my husband is apparently the better Yu-Gi-Oh duelist this week. *salt pout*)
I recently finished this “self-portrait” of myself. It’s been a bit since I’ve done a drawing entirely on Clip Studio Paint (I usually draw a sketch on paper and scan it first…) but I decided to give it a shot once more.
Honestly, I’m quite proud of it. I’ve been drawing on and off since 7th grade (and being a 21 1/2 year old, that’s a while, now). My style is sort of anime/manga-ish, but…I dunno, I find it hard to describe. If I tell people it’s like anime/manga, then I feel like they look at my work and get disappointed…because it’s not completely within that style, you know?
Anyways, I still love to draw and make art, and I DO make an effort to draw (or at least, doodle) everyday. I long to get back into common practice, especially if I want to illustrate my own books, after all. *bashful smile*
Anyways, for those of you who follow me on my deviantART page, this will be posted on there, too. I hope to post MORE art on here, too.
Wow, I guess the posts are coming quickly for now…I was hoping to stargaze tonight (I bought a telescope during Prime Day), but I think Michigan’s cloud cover won’t cooperate with me, tonight.
I find the game’s concept interesting, and amusing…so many possibilities, so many ways to eliminate those who long for your Senpai’s attraction…and if you’ve been following the blog/website (yanderedev.wordpress.com OR yanderesimulator.com) for a good while, then you’ll know the amount of potential replay that this “little indie game” has!
So, I guess this is an odd segway into telling you guys that I do like video games. I hope to do game walkthroughs and playthroughs on my YouTube channel sometime in the future. My tastes are a little…well…actually, it might be better if I were to post a list of my favorite games or upload a video about it…but that won’t be for a while.
Anyways, below are a few screenshots I took while playing the game. Mostly involved decapitated heads and blood splatter, so if you’re the “faint of heart”, well…tough luck. I can get like that sometimes. *smile*
Be sure to visit the Yandere Simulator website (yanderesimulator.com) OR Yanderedev’s WordPress blog (yanderedev.wordpress.com) to keep up-to-date with the progress of the game’s development OR to download the debug build for the game! (Bonus shout-out to Jay from the KubzScouts, because he’s THAT DUDE)
Just something to show that I’m working on something that will hopefully NOT leave this blog blank and entirely devoid of updates.
My blog posts may not always consistent…I have a hard time keeping to schedules and the like, but I can promise that they will be frequent. No less than ten posts a month, hopefully…even if they’re not very long.
Anyways, other than this, I want to start working on that Q&A video I wanted to do. I gathered some questions from my friends, and have a list of twenty questions or so, so I wanna start on that soon, too.
